PAINTING : FULL COURSE
PAINTING : FULL COURSE / 6 WEEKS
OCTOBER 12TH - NOVEMBER 16TH
EVERY SUNDAY LIVE VIA ZOOM FROM THE STUDIO
FROM 9AM - 10AM PACIFIC
I have set this program up with the intention of introducing you to my philosophy and approach to working on a painting in all stages. This workshop will begin at the very start of the production of a new painting and we will be carrying this work to completion as the 6 WEEKS of the workshop proceed. In the first 3 WEEKS we will be discussing important topics ranging from early short form information, focused composition building, consistent information handling, subtraction and early relationship development. In the final 3 WEEKS of this workshop will deep dive into advanced composition development, elongating forms, advanced relationship building and further utilization of subtraction to create depth and velocity. Included in this workshop are the 5 process videos One Hundred Thousand Hours that will serve as a refresher for all stages of the painting process.
All live sessions are recorded and posted the following Monday in case you are unable to attend the live Sunday Session - so if you can’t make the live sessions you can always catch up!
Live session recordings and process videos will be available for 6 months after the end of the workshop.
ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND HOURS THE E-BOOK
Included in your enrollment is my 80 page e-book ‘One Hundred Thousand Hours’. This e-book takes you through my painting process that I have spent over 20 years developing. Sections include utilizing the ‘Language Of Risk’, materials suggestions and usage, and tips and tricks for dealing with clients and galleries that span across all mediums.
PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP
I will also be sending you a personal invitation to join our private Facebook Group ‘A WORK IN PROGRESS’. There you will find a friendly and lively community of artists that are either enrolled in the Winter Session with you or have been enrolled in workshops in the past. Here you can post pictures of your own work and join the lively group discussions or continue the conversation from that day’s live session.
